My impact on content creation
At Reddit, I’ve had my hand in the launch/rehab of several key platforms. Using my strategies, we launched a TikTok account, built out our video production muscle, and gained control of Reddit’s on Reddit handle, u/Reddit_IRL.

@Reddit on TikTok
While at Reddit, I launched our TikTok presence (+1.1M followers in 2 years) and built Reddit’s social video capabilities from scratch.
Recurring video formats include repurposed high-value on-platform content, on-the-street interviews (hosted by yours truly), and utilizing popular trends.
Revamping Reddit’s YouTube
Reddit’s YouTube channel was a dormant afterthought for some years. With the launch of Shorts, I began to focus more energy on growing our footprint. Not only did I focus on short-form Shorts but also long-form videos that emphasized Reddit’s value.
On-the-street interviews helped introduce Reddit’s followers to new “ask” communities, where they could get the answers to their questions judgment-free.
A common barrier to entry for many new redditors is all the terminology that exists on the platform. To help new users out, a Slang 101 series broke down common terms.
Thanks to our brand partnerships, I can access all sorts of talent. After creating a toolkit of templatized, easily replicable videos, I’ve produced many talent-first videos.
Let’s get meta for a second.
Introducing Reddit on Reddit.
When I joined Reddit, the social team did not own any on-platform properties. As my role developed and team priorities shifted, we soon gained control of u/reddit_irl, our first brand presence on our owned platform. Using this newly acquired handle, we engaged with communities like r/rickandmorty and r/animalsbeing bros on key community anniversaries, supported product launches, such as Reddit Recap, and dropped into relevant communities with white hot memes.
